About Planted Botanical Studio

I’ve loved plants for as long as I can remember. What started as a hobby slowly became a bit of an obsession, and eventually I wanted to share that passion with other people.

Planted is our family-run botanical studio in Cape Town. I started it because I loved finding unusual plants and learning how to help them settle in and thrive in our local conditions. Importing live plants hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been such a rewarding and enjoyable journey.

My husband, Dayne, and I now work together to source, care for and find homes for each plant. We really enjoy helping people discover something special and sharing what we’ve learnt along the way.

Planted is about more than simply selling plants. It’s about the excitement of finding something new, watching it grow and helping others enjoy plants as much as we do.

Local and In Stock

A selection of beautiful plants that are already here in Cape Town and ready for their new homes. These are available without the wait, and each one is cared for before it leaves us.

Imported Plants

We source unusual and collector plants from trusted growers abroad, including Thailand. Importing live plants can be unpredictable, so we take care of the process and give them time to settle into local conditions before sending them on.

Pots and Plant Extras

You’ll also find a small range of pots, plant care products and other useful extras to help your plants look good and grow well.

Help at Home

Need a hand with your plants? Ask nicely and I may even come to you. Whether you need help identifying a problem, repotting, placing plants in the right spot or getting an unruly collection back under control, I’m happy to help where I can.
